Calvin Capital is based in Manchester with asset portfolios in the UK and Australia. Calvin Capital is looking to expand its current Commercial department with the hire of a Commercial Manager. The successful candidate would report to the Commercial Strategy Director. This will be a high-profile role with additional exposure to the other members of the senior Calvin management, including CEO, CFO, CCO, Legal Counsel and Operations Directors.
Transactions that Calvin Capital have completed in recent years range from £25m-£1bn with typical deal size around £250m. Support of the commercial strategy will be a feature of the role, including working in new markets/sectors, as Calvin continues its rapid expansion and development of its strategy.
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will be able to take the lead on all Commercial aspects (with support where appropriate), working closely with Calvin’s Directors. The work will include delivery of Customer and manufacturer contractual frameworks, pricing strategy, governance and controls while supporting Calvin’s strategic partners, internationally and in the UK.
The role will also include work on commercial projects and general corporate work so it would suit someone with experience in these areas, or equally someone looking to develop their career in these areas.
The successful candidate will either be currently working in or have worked in leading roles within the Energy Industry.
